Toy Library

Our Toy Library provides a large variety of toys, puzzles, games, activities for young children and they’ll love being able to choose their own toys which they can borrow for a month at a time.

Available to Dunedin Parents Centre only with no extra borrowing fees.

Hours

• Monday – 11:20 am to 11.40am (after playgroup)
• Tuesday – 11:20am to 11.40am (after playgroup)
• Wednesday – 11.50am to 12.10pm (after playgroup)
• Thursday – 1.30pm to 2pm (after playgroup)
• Friday – 11.50am to 12.10pm (after playgroup)
• Sundays* – 3.30pm-4.30pm (*3rd Sunday of the month only)

Play Groups

Anyone is welcome to come along to our playgroups.  They are great indoor and outdoor fun for children of all ages.  Meet other parents/caregivers and have some fun with your children.

Playgroups are free for Dunedin Parents Centre members or $2 koha per family per session for non-members.  Please bring a lunchbox for morning tea for your child.  Water is available as well as hot drinks for the adults.

Home based carers are welcome to attend with a maximum of 4 children ($2/family if not members).

• Monday 10am to 11.30am – Monday Playgroup (all ages)
• Tuesday 9.30am to 11.30am – Active Movement Playgroup (crawlers & up)
• Wednesday 10.30am to 12noon – Tums ‘n’ Bums Playgroup (under 1s)
• Thursday 10am to 2pm – Japanese Language Playgroup (all ages)
• Friday 10am to 12noon – Music Playgroup (all ages)

Venue Hire

Dunedin Parents Centre is available to book for private functions.  It’s a great location for kid’s birthday parties, baby showers and catch-ups.  The centre has an excellent kitchen area as well as amazing indoor and fully fenced outdoor play areas.

Please note there is a $40 refundable bond due upfront to secure your booking.

Hire costs

• Non-members: $80 for 3 hours ($120 with bond)
• Members: $60 for 3 hours ($100 with bond)
• Committee: $20 ($60 with bond)
• Additional hours: $10 per hour
